Creativity, Fan Engagement and Innovation in Music



An all-star panel of music industry giants discussed challenges and strategies of engaging fans and building community. Joi Brown, head of partnerships at ICM, offered, “My platform is about how we all work together in a more equitable space to uplift our community … It’s about bringing people who are used to being behind the scenes, who are driving culture, to the forefront. It’s a community of education, leadership, empowerment, but also about how we own our own culture, and narrate and profit from it.”
